So, another few month passes by while we are all busy getting old!

Quite a lot of things have changed since the last entry.

I've managed to somewhat get used to the university way of life. Of course, that means I've been progressively working up the university ladder, and with advancement brings more work that's not only tougher, it's more annoying as well.

Currently my GPA sits at 2.51, which is not a great achievement at all. I did go into computer science without any programming knowledge (which I probably should've done something about earlier) but at this point, I don't think that would be much of an excuse.

I did learn quite a bit about Java, now that I have/is doing 2 courses on that topic. I've managed to program my first tic-tac-toe game last April, and now I'm studying data structure and efficient programming. Plus, a required computer hardware engineering course, called Intro to Computer Design. Guess what they talk about, microchips, NAND gates and such.

I'm perfectly fine with computer hardware, but once it starts involving gates and logic circuits, I'm virulently allergic to that crap. I'd rather just keep on building systems and not get into the design of the circuit boards.

Speaking of that, I've spent half a thousand on upgrading my computer. Yes, a bit excessive for a student living on low income job, but hey, if I want to play Crysis or Call of Duty: World at War then I've got to have something decent right...so I bought a XFX GTS 250 along with a Corsair 550W PSu. That itself totaled to nearly $360. Gaming PC might be just as expensive of a habit as marijuana...

Other than that, not much change. Bought a new phone off Japan and using it here. Not many others have the same thing, so makes me feel unique Plus I love the advanced features and design the engineers in Japan put into their phone. It's a work of art, not just a phone. Why can't the North American companies step up their game?

Anyways, I'll end the journal on a hopeful note that I'll be back more often. I hope!
